Casa Carolina

Tucked away in the traditional Spanish village of Santa Lucia, yet minutes from the vibrant historic town of Vejer de la Frontera, Casa Carolina is a self-catering cottage, suitable for those who are looking for tranquillity, stunning views, hospitality and something a little bit different…

Able to take bookings of small families, individuals or couples – Casa Carolina particularly suits nature lovers and those searching for an environmentally sound holiday.

Casa Carolina is an open-plan cottage with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and loft bedroom. Set within the beautifully maintained land of the owner, you can enjoy the best of both worlds – the total privacy of your own patios and garden, whilst having the family readily on hand for local information and a friendly smile.

The cottage is one of a kind. Lovingly built by local carpenters and family, the cottage is designed to blend the boundaries between inside and outside, whilst being comfortable and modern. Independent of the main electricity grid, the cottage is run by solar energy and gas, and is cool during the hot summer, and cosy during the winter. The water supply comes direct from the local spring which supplies the water for all of nearby Vejer.

Casa Carolina is a family run business, owned by Caroline, a British woman who moved to Spain with her family nearly thirty years ago. Fluent in Spanish and highly knowledgeable about the local area and its attractions and flora and fauna, you couldn’t ask for a better person to advise you on how to make the most of your time in Andalucia.
